It is the most advanced merger process of the Spanish finalcial system, the first to create a bank in its own right - operational since June 2010-, the bank boasts sound liquidity and solvency and a vastly improved and restructured balance sheet. Banca Civica is an undisputed market leader in the regions it hails from –Navarre, Tenerife, Burgos and western Andalusia– the group’s 3.5 million-strong client base continued to grow over 2010, with 71,000 million euros in assets under management

Banca Cívica operates on the market through a unique business model in the financial sector, that factors in the needs of a society that demands a leading role when it comes to taking key decisions. Its strategy is based on transparency –it is the only bank that tells each and every client just how much money he or she is making thanks to the bank– and on involvement, in that each client decides which social projects are to receive a part of the profits or returns.
