The Bank is principally engaged in commercial banking in Chile, providing general banking services to a diverse customer base that includes large corporations, small and mid-sized businesses and individuals. We deliver financial products and services through a nationwide network of currently 256 branches, 682 ATMs and other electronic distribution channels.
As of march 31st, 2002, Banco de Chile showed total assets in the equivalent of 13.4 billion US dollars, loans outstanding for almost 9 billion US dollars, deposits in excess of 8 billion US dollars and shareholders equity in the amount of 827 million US dollars.
The Bank is headquarterd in Santiago de Chile and is supervised by the Superintendencia de Bancos e Instituciones Financieras of Chile.
