Profile

Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España was founded in March 1879.

In 1974, CVNE established VIÑEDOS DEL CONTINO in the style of the large French chateau, producing wine from grapes selected from its 62 hectares of vineyards planted around an old house near Laserna, an unusual step in Spain.

The company's cellars are in Haro (near the station) and in Cerro de la Mesa, 10km from Laguardia on the road to Logroño. Both cellars are in the heart of the Rioja region. CNVE has 540 hectares of vineyards, making it one of the largest landowners in the Ebro valley. This area
satisfies 50% of its needs; the rest comes from the purchase of grapes from various parts of Spain, producers and rigorous quality control.

"La Cune", as the company is called by the people of Haro, faces the future from the perspective of the past, to which it is loyal.
