PROFILE

This group goes back to 1967 when Parque de Atracciones Casa de
Campo de Madrid, S.A. was created to operate the concession of the
amusement park in the Casa de Campo, Madrid, granted by the
Madrid Town Hall. In June 1998 it changed its name to Parques
Reunidos, S.A.

Parques Reunidos is the leader in Spain's leisure sector as a result of
its expansion over the last few years. It acquired different types of
leisure centres: amusement parks, animal parks, water parks and cable
railway.

In May 1999, Parques Reunidos became the first Spanish leisure company
to be listed and one of the new such companies in Europe. In November
2000, the company increased its capital by EUR 30 million, which was
mainly used to finance the group's strategic plan and resulted in Grupo
Planeta, Grupo Agostini and Nutrexpa becoming shareholders.
